Depression and anxiety and oppression and trauma are all real and are all powerful forces that can do so much harm and make you doubt the value you add to the world and the love and respect you deserve. Those voices are not your voice, and I want to help you defeat them.

I provide a brave space for you to discover your own capacity to heal and grow. Drawing from a combination of IFS, EMDR, somatic work, and DBT, I support my clients in healing from trauma and in building supportive and trusting relationships with themselves and others.

As a queer, neurodivergent, and non-monogamous clinician, I know how challenging and how important it is for everyone to break free of all the "shoulds" around them and build a life that is authentic, intentional, and nourishing.

Stefanie Stewart (they/them) is a trauma-informed and social justice oriented Mental Health Counselor offering online telehealth therapy to individuals and couples in New York as well as Mental Health Coaching. They also offer supervision to other therapists looking for guidance and support.

Weekly or biweekly 45 minute telehealth counseling sessions supporting individuals in healing from trauma, managing mental illness, building relationships and interpersonal effectiveness, and improving emotional regulation.

Weekly or biweekly 45 minute telehealth counseling sessions supporting couples (or throuples) in developing compassionate and effective communication and building secure attachment no matter their relationship structure.
03.
Individual or group virtual supervision sessions supporting therapists in building confidence and clinical judgment and developing comfort with different therapeutic models and client populations.

Clients wishing to use out of network benefits may be provided with a superbill to submit for potential reimbursement.
